LE Pro 3 is the 3rd generation smart phone of LETV launched on September 2016. The Snapdragon 821 processor is the largest feature of the Pro 3 which only sales at 1799 RMB. Compact outlook design, Le-Eco system experience and removal of headphone jack are three attractions of it.
LE Max 2 is the 2ed generation smart phone of LETV launched on April 2016, together with the LE 2, LE 2 Pro. LE Max 2 is equipped with very powerful hardware integrating with the LE-Eco system.
LE Pro 3 has a 5.5 inches screen with a resolution ratio of 1080 P. It carries the Snapdragon 821 quad core processor with a dominant frequency of 2.35 GHz, 4 GB/6 GB RAM and 32 GB/64 GB ROM respectively. It has an 8 MP front camera and a 16 MP primary camera which supports PDAF focusing technology. The battery is 4070 m AH and supports LE Quick charging. It is 151.4 mm long, 73.9 mm wide, 7.5 mm thin and weighs 175 grams. There are four colors for users options. Metal phone body, fingerprint identification, quick charging and Type-C are the features of LE Pro 3.
LE Max 2 has a 5.7 inches screen with a resolution ratio of 2560*1440P. It carries the Snapdragon 820 quad core processor with a dominant frequency of 2.3 GHz, 6 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM. It has an 8 MP front camera and a 21MP primary camera. The battery is 3100 m AH ans supports LE Quick charging. It is 156.8 mm long, 77.6 mm wide, 7.99 mm wide and weighs 185 grams. There are three colors for users options and sales at 2499 RMB. Metal phone body, ultra-sound wave fingerprint identification, Quick charging and Type-C interface are major features of it.
From the information above, main differences of the two are in the processor, camera, battery and price. The comparison today is between the LE Pro3 high-end version and LE Max 2.
The overall style of the two are basically the same, ID screens, narrow frames, and three virtual keys. They both apply a three-phase metal back cover, but the Pro 3 uses the CNC wire-drawing craft on the back cover, and a coating film is applied on the surface of the back cover. The loudspeakers and Type-C interfaces are symmetrically put on the bottom of the phone.
In terms of the CPU performance, seen from the professional testing, we can tell the Pro 3 has more powerful performance than the Max 3. But the processor of LE Max 3 has been upgraded, thus the two phones can definitely meet the regular demands of consumers.
LE Pro 3 and LE Max 2 have the same front cameras. While Max 2 has a 21 MP primary camera which delivers amazing performance. And Pro 3 uses the new Sony sensor which also has improved camera performance.
Pro 3 is slighter thicker and has a larger battery which presents very excellent endurance endurance, while Max 2 might be a little weaker than Pro 3 in the endurance because of smaller battery and larger screen. Also LE Pro 3 is slightly cheaper than LE Max.
To sum up, LE Pro 3 can be considered as the improved version of LE Max 2 in terms of the appearance, performance and camera, as well as the battery endurance. The comprehensive performance of the Pro 3 is more balanced. Consumers can choose one according to own liking.
